Welcome & About us

Hello! We are a small, very friendly and welcoming group from Kneesall and its surrounding villages. We meet monthly to listen to interesting speakers, take part in competitions and most importantly chat!!

Our members take part in many of the activities organised locally and nationally such as cooking, crafts, croquet, walking, gliding and quiz nights and we have a committed darts team. In addition to our regular meetings, we organise day trips to nearby places of interest and theatre visits. We also run a popular craft fair each Christmas.

The following photo shows most of our group enjoying afternoon tea in the garden of one of our members following the lifting of Covid restrictions. As you can see, we were all delighted to be able to meet up again.

“Elisabeth “Betty” Seal who died recently was a legend in our WI, She was a past president, VCO and member. She was a renowned baker making our celebration birthday cake for over 50 years; a poet, and raconteur with a brilliant sense of humour. Most of all she will be remembered as a very dear friend.
