Lambley Village WI is a traditional WI with progressive ideas, with ladies both young and old with a variety of skills and interests. Our members come from a wider area than the village of Lambley helping to maintain the WI and bring new ideas to the group.
Our annual programme has a variety of speakers and demonstrations and organised summer and winter trips and a theatre group arranges visits to the local theatres and cinemas.
We support Lambley Village and local events, providing refreshments and cakes! Some of us managed a small area of garden in the village, yarn bombing, supporting remembrance day celebrations and the village scarecrow competition to name a few extra activities. For those of you who enjoy painting we visit the local primary school and get the children to help decorate our garden with their local artwork - always a time for old clothes!
Our meetings are held on the second Monday of the month, starting at 7.30pm, at the Lambley Village Hall, Catfoot Lane, Lambley, Nottingham, NG4 4QF.
New members and visitors are always welcome to come along, meet the group, have fun and make new friends.
