2022
April - we celebrated our 80th Birthday party one year late. Margaret made a super cake for the occasion.
February meeting is usually a Members Night - that means the members organise it!
We had a demonstration on Button Brooches by Suzanne Plamping then because we had a load of Buttons left from our button craft A5 poster we all made a button brooch each - great night.
2021
October we were able to meet and everyone helped to make an A5 poster of Eakring WI made with Buttons.
April should be our 80th Birthday Party!
March. We had a very thought provoking speaker .Quite inspiring.
February another of our members, this time Jennifer Bartle showed us how to do a flower arrangement in a vase on Zoom of course!
Our January meeting was a ZOOM powerpoint presentation by our member Jenny Bailey Editor of the Federation Newsletter 'The Hornblower'
2020
We managed a meeting in February then an outdoor garden meeting in June. Zoom meetings then became the norm!

2019
In October we held our Quiz night Saturday 27 at the Cator Hall. Good Food Good night!!
In September the ladies of the WI organised a MacMillian Coffee Morning
At the August meeting it was a Fascinating evening - well a few members made them with feathers and ribbon. They looked very good. The rest watched and had a nice chat.
At the February meeting - Member's Night. We took on the task of being Givil Engineers for the night!
We had to build a tower out of spaghetti, marshmallows and jelly babies for to hold a cup! The next challenge was to build a tower using only sand (very fine sand) and paper towels to hold a cup with water in it! The results showed a great deal of skill and ingenuity. It turned out to be a very competitive fun evening – a glass of wine did help and a wonderful supper.
2018
In April a group of Eakring WI got dressed up! They represented the 1940s &
1950's at the Federations Centenary Celebration at Newark Parish Church.
